Fisherman's House

I don’t actually know that this is a fisherman’s house or any story about it sadly. But I really loved the look of this little red house in Salem, Massachusetts, one block over from the House of Seven Gables. The masts of boats crowd the sky behind it and there are rich textures from the peeling paint – no doubt from years of exposure to the salt air.

If anyone knows some actual details about the history of this little charmer, I’d love to hear them. Otherwise, imagine your own history of a sea faring captain of long ago.
