Wide Open

A taste of home, the countryside of Macon County, Georgia.
It’s not all as flat as this. Central Georgia is where the hills of North Georgia start to die. You have vast plains like this and then a mile down the road, a few gentle rolling hills will sweep in.
Anytime you find a vast flat area like this, though, you can almost bet it will be a farmer’s fields.
There’s something about these views, where we are so small against the backdrop of even a small piece of this earth, that just speaks to me.
