The Future Is Unwritten

This is actually an historic site. This is the remains of earthen mound that surrounded the stone circle at modern day Avebury. Avebury Circle is a bit older than Stonehenge but less famous neolithic monument.

Still, this scene spoke to me more of all that can be, the open future. The day started dark and gloomy, but by afternoon a gorgeous fall scene had unfolded, deep greens against a happy blue cloud-filled sky. It’s hard for me to imagine seeing this scene without feeling cheerful.
